Chroma Party: a free color-naming party game for team calls

Chroma Party is a real-time party game for remote team building. Each round shows an unusual color name, like "Periwinkle" or "Kermit Green", and everyone picks the matching swatch from their own phone or laptop while you talk on your video call (Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams or any other). Designers feel at home; everyone else can still win.

• Free, no sign-up, no download: it runs in the browser.
• 2 to 20 players, each on their own device. Nothing to screen-share.
• 10, 15 or 20 rounds of 30 seconds; 10 rounds take about 10 minutes.
• Three color sources (W3C/CSS, Commercial, Slang) and three difficulty levels.

How to play

1. The host opens chromaparty.com, taps Create Room and picks the color source, difficulty and number of rounds.
2. The host shares the invite link, the QR code or the 6-digit room code in the call chat.
3. Everyone joins with a name and an animal avatar, then the host taps Start Game.
4. Each round a color name appears and players tap the swatch they think matches. The first tap locks it in.
5. After each round: who got it right, a short "Did you know?" about the color, and the leaderboard.

Scoring: +50 for the right swatch, plus +5, +3 and +2 for the three fastest correct answers; -10 for a wrong swatch or no answer. After the last round a podium shows the winners, and Play Again! restarts with the same group.
